Three Injured In Overnight Crash Near Newark

Newark – Just after 12:00 this morning rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, alongside crews from the Christiana and Cranston Heights Fire Companies responded to Fox Den Road at Paper Mill Road for a motor vehicle accident with multiple injuries.

Upon arrival, Aetna’s Squad 9 and Command 7 reported that three patients were injured and would need transport. Aetna’s Ambulance A7, Christiana’s A12, and Cranston Heights A14 each transported one patient to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Traffic 9 Fire Police also responded to the scene to direct traffic as crews worked to clear the scene.

The incident was cleared after about thirty minutes and turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
