Car Narrowly Misses Hitting Home In New Castle, Two To Hospital

New Castle – Just before 4:00 this afternoon rescue crews from the Goodwill Fire Company, along with crews from the Wilmington Manor Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics, New Castle Police, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 were dispatched to the 800 block of Frenchtown Road for a vehicle into a house.

Upon their arrival, crews reported that one patient was trapped. After evaluating two patients, New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 were waved off.

Both patients were transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle did not strike the home, however, it did strike a wall in front of the home, causing heavy front end damage and airbag deployment.

New Castle City Police are investigating.
