Police Action Ends With Home Destroyed By Fire In Elkton

Elkton – At around 4:00 this afternoon multiple Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware fire companies responded to the 100 block of Silchester Drive just north of Elkton for a reports house fire.

An army of Maryland State Troopers and Cecil County Sheriff’s Deputies also responded to the scene for some sort of police action reportedly involving an armed subject inside the home.

The fire heavily damaged the two-story home that sits about 4 miles west of the Delaware state line.

At this time there are very few details regarding the police action. We are expecting an update shortly.
