Shooting Victim Succumbs To Injuries, Police Release Name

Wilmington Police have identified last night’s homicide victim as LARRY LEE, 40-years-old, of Wilmington.

On January 22, at approximately 6:28 pm, Wilmington Police responded to the 2300 block of Pine Street for a ‘shots fired’ complaint.

Upon the officer’s arrival, they located LEE, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, however, LEE succumbed to his injury.

This is an on-going investigation.

Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting, which occurred at approximately 6:28 Tuesday evening, in the 2300 block of Pine Street.

Police located a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated on scene and was transported to the hospital.

At this time his condition is unknown.

This is an on-going investigation.
