Authorities Update Rollover Crash Near Talleyville

 

On February 25, 2019, Talleyville Fire Company and New Castle County EMS were alerted to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Naamans Road and Talley Place with reports of the vehicle being overturned.

On arrival, emergency crews found a single vehicle collision with one patient said Paramedic Senior Corporal Ruoy Koontz.

Koontz.T said the vehicle struck a telephone pole and rolled on to its roof. The patient extricated himself from the vehicle prior to emergency crew’s arrival.

EMS assessed one patient, a 53-year-old male with no complaint or obvious signs of injury and was transported to Wilmington Hospital as a precaution. The patient was transported in stable condition in an ambulance from Talleyville Fire Company, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics.

Delaware State Police continue to investigate the incident.
