Dover Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot In The Upper Body

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 35-year-old Dover man in critical condition on early Saturday morning, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 3:50 AM, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the Unit Block of Weston Drive. Upon arrival, officers located the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The officers performed first aid until medics arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
