Lincoln- The Delaware State Police have identified the name of the driver who was killed in a single vehicle crash on April 29, 2019, on Johnson Road (CR207) east of Cedar Creek Road (SR30), as 76-year-old Margaret L. Hughes of Lincoln.
The crash continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Lincoln- The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash involving a single vehicle that occurred this morning, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.
Jaffee said the incident occurred on April 29, 2019, at approximately 10:26 a.m., when a 2009 Kia Spectra was traveling westbound on Johnson Road (CR207) east of Cedar Creek Road (SR30). For an unknown reason, the operator of the Kia failed to maintain the travel lane and drove off the north edge of the roadway and struck a large standing tree.
The operator, a 76-year-old female of Lincoln was properly restrained. She was transported to the Milford Bayhealth Campus Hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced deceased. Her name is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
The crash continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
Johnson Road was closed for approximately 1.5 hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.
