At approximately 7:20 last evening, New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire department personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Fox Den Road and Polly Drummond Hill Road for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.
Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation Section found one patient, 51-year-old-male, needing advanced life support. The patient suffered a head injury. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.
Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.

Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, the Hockessin Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 have been dispatched to Fox Den Road at Polly Drummond Hill Road for reports of an injury accident.
Crews en route are being told that multiple people are injured, one of which is not alert.
Trooper 4 has landed at the scene.
Update: Trooper 4 is about to lift off with on patient.
Update: Two ambulances crews on scene. It’s not clear if they are transporting any patients.
Update: A third ambulance dispatched to the scene has been recalled.
