Delmarva Bicyclist Struck And Killed By RV Sunday

Princess Anne, MD – Just before 7:45 on Sunday, May 26, 2019, Maryland State Troopers (MSP) from the Princess Anne Barracks responded to U.S. Rt. 13 just north of Somerset Avenue to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a bicyclist.

Officials said the initial investigation revealed that Richard L. Schrock, 62, crossed into the path of a 2016 Ford RV and was struck. He was subsequently transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury where he was pronounced deceased.

Schrock will be transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy, police said.

MSP Troopers are investigating.
