Harrington Pole Barn Fire Under Investigation, $100K In Damages

The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating this morning’s fire that heavily damaged a storage building near Harrington, Delaware.

The blaze, reported shortly after 10:00 am, occurred in the 2000 block of Ingram Branch Road near the Maryland state line. The Harrington Fire Company arrived on the scene with a 40 foot by 60-foot structure engulfed in flames.

State fire investigators are on the scene searching for the fire’s origin and cause. Heavy damage was estimated at $100,000. There were no reported injuries.

This fire remains under investigation.
