Just In: Two Injured In Newark Auto Accident

Newark – Just before 2:00 this afternoon rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder responded to South Chapel Street, near the BJ Wholesale store, for an auto accident involving injuries.

Upon arrival, crews reported that two patients were injured. Those patients have been transported to Christiana Hospital.

South Chaple Street sb was closed while crews worked to clear the accident.

As of 2:24 PM one lane remains restricted while Troopers investigate.
