Townsend – Rescue crews from the Townsend Fire Company along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 have responded to Route 1 SB for reports of a rollover crash.
Trooper 4 has landed at the scene.
All southbound traffic is being diverted off of Route 1 onto Middletown Odessa Road.
Command has requested a third ambulance to the scene.
Two patients will be transported Christiana Hosptial with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The third ambulance was recalled.
The road is expected to remain closed while Troopers investigate and clear the scene.
