National Weather Services Reports Winds Overturned Tractor Trailer In Middletown

Middletown – Last night, Thursday, June 13, 2019, at around 7:30 rescue crews responding to Boyds Corner Road at Cedar Lane Road for reports of an overturned tractor trailer.

Upon their arrival crews reported that that the driver told them that the truck was lifted off the ground and thrown on its side.

A report from the National weather service this morning indicates that the incident was in fact weather related.
“WIND GUSTS BLEW OVER A TRACTOR TRAILER NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF CEDAR LANE ROAD AND BOYDS CORNER ROAD. TIME ESTIMATED FROM RADAR. (PHI)”

No word on injuries.
