Wilmington Police Update Shooting On Gordon Street, Man In Critical

Wilmington – Just before 6:30 this evening rescue crews from New Castle County Paramedics, St Francis Medics, Wilmington Fire and Police responded to  Market  Street and  Gorden Street for reports of a shooting.

Unconfirmed reports from the scene indicate that shots rang out near the alley of the Lucky Stop Mini Market at around 6:15. Shortly after the shooting a white male reportedly fell in the street and did not get up.

Wilmington Police said they are investigating the shooting incident that occurred at approximately 6:18 p.m. in the unit block of Gordon Street.

A 29-year-old male gunshot victim was by arriving crews and was transported to the hospital He is listed in critical but stable condition.
