Talleyville – At 1:04 this afternoon rescue crews from the Talleyville Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 were dispatched to the Concord Mall at 410 Concord Mall for reports of a crash with three reported trapped.

Crews arrived to find the accident at the intersection near the mall and advised dispatch that there was positive entrapment and a total of three patients.

Trooper 4 arrived on scene, landing in the parking lot near the Sears. As crews work to free the driver medics and rescue personnel attended to two other patients

Crews later confirmed that the trapped driver and one of the passengers were being treated by medics and would be transported to Christiana Hospital. The third patient, a child, was transported to A.I Dupont.

Correction: Our earlier report indicated that the crash occurred in the parking lot of the mall. The call was dispatched to the Sears at Concord Mall, however, the crash occurred on Concord Pike just outside the mall.
