Happening Now: Tractor Trailer Knocks Out Power To 1,300 In Talleyville, Subjects Trapped In Elevator

Talleyville – Over 1,300 Delmarva Power customers are without power in the Tallyville area due to an accident.

Early reports from the scene indicate a tractor-trailer has crashed into a utility pole, leaving many in the area without power.

 

Radio traffic indicates that people are trapped in an elevator at the Homewood Suites on Rockie Run Parkway.

Delaware State Police has issued the following statement:
“TRAFFIC ADVISORY Wilmington: The southbound lanes of Concord Pike are closed at Silverside Rd. due to a power outage.”
