Just In: Serious Crash On Summit bridge Road In Middletown, Injuries Reported

Middletown – Just before 7:40 this morning rescue crews from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown along with New Castle County Medics and Delaware State Police responded to the 4400 block of Summit Bridge Road for a motor vehicle collision with injuries.

Upon their arrival, crews found two vehicles with heavy damage. One with heavy intrusion into the passenger compartment.

At least one patient has been transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital via ambulance.

Traffic is getting by, however, the southbound lanes of Summit Bridge Road are restricted while Troopers investigate.
