Police: Suspect With Distinctive Hat Sought In Dover 7-11 Robbery

The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery of a 7-11 early Monday morning, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 5:30AM, a male suspect entered the store located at 654 N. DuPont Highway.

The suspect approached a clerk with a knife and demanded Newport cigarettes and Black and Mild Cigars, according to Hoffman. The suspect fled with several items in an eastbound direction towards Jeffric Blvd.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
