Bridgeville – Just after 5:30 this afternoon rescue crews from the Bridgeville Fire Company along with Sussex County Medics and Trooper 2 were dispatched to Sussex Hwy (Route 13) at East Newton Road.
Upon arrival, crews reported that the patient was heavily entrapped and that the vehicle was on fire. Crews were able to know the fire down and the patient was freed from the vehicle at around 5:45.
Crews are reporting that the patient is seriously injured. Trooper 2 is 20 seconds out.
