SUV Pulled From The Brandywine River Wednesday Morning

Police recover SUV from the Brandywine river Wednesday morning.

At approximately 7:30 this morning the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) received a call about a vehicle submerged in the Brandywine Creek near 13th  and Church Streets, according to WPD Spokesman David Karas.

Karas said Wilmington Police, along with members of the Wilmington Fire Department Marine Units responded to the area and found the vehicle to be unoccupied.

The vehicle has been recovered from the river and the owner has been notified, according to Karas. There were no injuries reported.
