Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 4:53 p.m. in the 2300 block of Bowers Street.
Police located two gunshot victims – a 19-year-old male and a 20-year-old male – who were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Wilmington – Just before 5:00 Saturday evening, rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department, Saint Francis, NCC Medics, and Trooper 4 were dispatched to 2300 block of Bowers Street for reports of a shooting.
Early indications are that a total of four patients were located near the Kingswood Community Center.
At least two people have been shot, according to radio traffic. One person has suffered a medical condition. It’s unclear if the fourth patient was shot.
As crews responded to the incident, the on-scene commander ordered two helicopters to respond. It’s believed that neither was utilized.
