Police have identified the victim in the Christmas Day killing as 51-year-old Robin McNeil of Wilmington.

Wilmington Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 51-year-old woman on Christmas Day.
Just after 6:00 Wednesday evening, December 25, 2019, officers responded to the 900 block of Vandever Avenue for reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers found the woman suffering from gunshot injuries. She was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
