Driver In Stable Condition After Friday Afternoon Crash In Claymont

At approximately 4:10 Friday afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics and Claymont Fire Company were dispatched to the 1700 block of Philadelphia Pike in Rolling Park for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 69-year-old-female, who suffered injuries to her head. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Wilmington Hospital via Claymont Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
