Just In: Kent County Fire Traps Three, Injuries Reported

Camden – Just before 8:30 Saturday evening firefighters from Camden-Wyoming, Hartly, Dover, and Magnolia along with Kent County Medics were dispatched to the 7800 block of Westville Road for reports of a structure fire at a what dispatchers called a group home.

While en route crews learned that several occupants were trapped inside the home. First arriving crews reported fire showing from the home.

Initial reports indicate that one patient was trapped in the home and a second was trapped on the roof of the two-story dwelling. Radio traffic indicates that a third patient trapped in the home may have been able to exit the home.

At least one patient has been transported with very serious injuries.
