Newark Police Seek Strangulation Suspect

Newark Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Davis Lafage III, 31, of Newark, following his involvement in an altercation with an acquaintance, according to Lt. Andrew Rubin.

Rubin said on December 18, 2019, at about 9:45 in the morning, Newark Police responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Fountainview Circle after a report of a fight between two subjects.

As a result of the incident, Newark Police have obtained a warrant charging Lafage with Assault Second Degree, Strangulation and additional offenses.

Lafage is known to the victim and there is no apparent threat to the general public, said Rubin.

Lafage is known to frequent Newark and Cecil County, MD. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lafage is asked to call Newark Police at (302) 366-7111.
