Troopers: Felony Assault Suspect Turns Himself In

Bridgeville The Delaware State Police have arrested 48-year-old Kenneth E. Greene of Laurel, who is wanted on a felony assault charge.

On January 17, 2020, Greene turned himself in at Troop 4 where he was charged with Felony Assault.  Greene was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $5000.00 secured bond.

Bridgeville- The Delaware State Police are attempting to locate 48-year-old Kenneth E. Greene of Laurel, who is wanted on a felony assault charge, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on January 3, 2020, when a 28-year-old female victim was attending a “block party” in the area. After an alleged drug transaction took place, the victim was approached by Greene who began physically assaulting her, according to Jaffe. The victim was left unconscious on the ground. She subsequently regained consciousness and was able to leave the area. The victim sought medical care and was transported to the hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers have been unable to locate Greene who currently has an active warrant out of Troop 4 for Assault 2nd Degree (Felony). Greene is 6’00” tall, 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He may be operating a gray Nissan Altima or Maxima. Anyone with information in reference to Greene’s whereabouts is asked to contact Troop 4, Corporal Gambale at 302-856-5850.
