Wilmington – Rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department along with Delaware State Police are responding to I-495 at the Christina River Bridge (CRB) for an injury crash involving nine vehicles.
Crews have closed all northbound lanes of I-495.
Update: Initial reports from the scene indicate that at least four patients will be transported.
Update: 8:18 PM Command has turned the scene over to State Police. Reporting that the roadway will remain closed.
Update: 8:30 PM State Police reporting road will remain closed while DelDOT street sweepers clear debris.
Update: Road reopened.
