Bear – Dozens of police officers have surrounded a home on Airdrie Drive in the Clairborne at Lexington Farms development off of Route 896.
Residents in the neighborhood have received a reverse 911 call asking them to shelter in place in their homes. Authorities did not say what they are investigating, just that it was an active crime.
A Bearcat tactical vehicle and SWAT team members have been observed in the neighbor as well.
Update: Residents report that just before 6:20 they heard two explosions. The explosions were likey stun grenades used by the tactical team.
Update: neighbors took to social media to report that the person was in custody after officers were heard yelling get down, get down. Additional reports indicate that residents heard gunfire at around 2am.
