New Castle – Rescue crews are responding to Route 1 NB at Tybouts Corner for a motor vehicle crash with a rollover.
Reader is reporting that the vehicle is upside down in a ditch. First arriving crews are reporting that one person is trapped.
One lane of Route 1 NB has been closed in the area.
Trooper4 overhead. Command advises for them to stay nearby. Accessing the situation.
Trooper 4 has cleared. Patient has been freed and is en route to Christiana Hosptial via Delaware City fire Company ambulance with New Castle County Medics onboard.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that crews had to remove the windshield to gain access to the patient.
