Delaware COVID-19 Cases Top 2000, Three More Pass Away

 State health officials are reporting three additional fatalities related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s current total to 46.

Eighty-eight new laboratory-confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus were discovered in the state over the last day.
Since the Division of Public Health began tracking the virus on March 11, a total of 2,014 cases have been reported, including 974 in New Castle County, 345 in Kent County, and 678 in Sussex County.  In 17 cases, the county of origin was not reported.
Thus far, 354 Delawareans have recovered from COVID-19, including 35 added today.
State officials consider patients to be fully recovered after they have been free of symptoms for seven days.
