Clayton – At 7:00 Tueday morning, May 26, 2020. Rescue crews from the Clayton Fire Company along with crews from Smyrna, Kent County Medics, and Maryland officials were dispatched to Millington Road, just east of the Maryland state line, for a head-on collision involving a Delaware State Police Trooper.
Initial reports from the scene indicated that one patient was trapped. That was confirmed upon arrival. Command advised that the vehicle would need a door pop.
At this point all we know is that the Trooper and another patient were both transported to an area hospital.
Troopers have closed Millington Road between Jewel Drive and Daisey Road while they investigate.
