Salon 828 Happy To Be Open After Government Ordered Shutdown

Salon 828 is so happy to be open!

The owners of the Salons say that after being forced to close in mid-March, they are anxious to get back to doing what they love – making people feel great again!

During the shutdown, both owners were denied unemployment and had to drain their savings to keep both locations afloat. The pair tried to take advantage of some of the programs rolled out by the state government, however, the process took too long. Frankly it’s not a great choice to strap ourselves with debt after months of lost revenue, said co-owner Holly Grist.

Being able to reopen at such a low capacity with high restrictions makes it hard to operate and make a profit. Despite all the hardships, we are thrilled to have survived it and start to rebuild!

At the moment they are only able to service essential workers and cannot double book customers. Only two stylists are permitted to work at a time and they sanitize every touched surface in between clients.

If you would like to make an appointment you can contact them at either their Wilmington or Middletown location.
