Tractor-Trailer Overturned On I-95, Debris Across The Roadway

New Castle – The Delaware State Police are on scene of a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer that occurred at approximately 6:34 a.m. on I-95 northbound in the area of Airport Rd.

As a result of the crash the two right lanes of I-95 are closed as well as the off-ramp to Airport Rd. The left lanes of I-95 remain open however motorists will experience delays and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

Crews are working to clear debris from the two right lanes of I-95 in an effort to re-open all lanes as soon as possible. The Airport Rd. off-ramp closure, however, is expected to be lengthy.

The tractor-trailer driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
