Dover Police Investigating Saturday Shooting

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 38-year-old male, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said officers responded to the area of Simon Circle at approximately 9:31 PM on Saturday night and located the victim with a single gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital were he was treated for a non-life threatening injury to his leg.

The suspects were described as two black males who were wearing masks, black shirts, and jeans.
