Teen Airlifted To Hospital After Motorcycle Crash In Middletown

At approximately 10:00 Friday evening, New Castle County Paramedics, Odessa Fire Company, and Delaware State Police helicopter were dispatched to the 1100 block of Vance Neck Road in Middletown for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 19-year-old-male, who was removed from his motorcycle. The patient suffered injuries to his head and was treated on scene. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter in the care of Delaware State Police paramedics in stable condition.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
