Victim Shot And Killed In Dover, Responding Officers Capture Suspects Nearby

The Dover Police Department arrested two armed suspects after the shooting death of a male victim in the 300 Block of Kesselring Avenue on Monday evening, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said at approximately 6:54PM, officers responded to the area for a report of shots fired and located the deceased male inside of a vehicle. A home was also struck by gunfire during the incident. Several members of the neighborhood provided descriptions, images, and other information about the two suspects to arriving officers. The officers quickly established a secure perimeter in the area with the assistance of the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit. By 8:05 PM, officers had arrested two suspects. Each suspect was in possession of a handgun, said Hoffman.

The age and name of the victim is currently being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Raiquan Fisher (18) and a juvenile male (15) were arrested. Both suspects were charged with the following offenses:
-Murder 1st Degree
-Conspiracy 1st Degree
-Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of Felony
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited
-Reckless Endangering 1st Degree
-Criminal Mischief

Raquan Fisher was committed to SCI on a $180,100 cash bond. The juvenile was committed to a juvenile detention center on a $170,100 cash bond.
