Early Thursday rescue crews along with Delaware State Police have responded to I-495 SB at the 12th Street exit for a motor vehicle crash.
While en route crews learned that a caller was reporting that a vehicle jumped the guardrail and took out a light pole.
Images from DelDOT cameras showed the vehicle in the grass and a light pole blocking the 12th Street exit.
First arriving crews reporting one patient. The condition of the patient is unknown at this time.
Good samaritans on scene removed the pole out of the roadway and the road has been reopened.
