PNC Arts Alive!, New Castle County, and The City of Wilmington present The Grand’s Concerts by Car The Very Best of The Beatles with The Rock Orchestra.
The Rock Orchestra (TRO) is Delaware’s premier tribute collective, which has presented a variety of tribute shows since their inception in 2017.
Previous shows include Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, The Who, Genesis and INXS where TRO transports music by these artists off the record and onto the stage, note for note as originally recorded. Unlike other tributes the group focuses on the music, and does not impersonate the artists.
One of TRO’s most well-known productions is BeatleFest where they perform all 215 Beatles songs over six nights. They will be presenting a selection of those songs in their much-anticipated return to live music when they perform The Very Best of The Beatles on July 3. Pricing: Car (with one occupant): $25 Car (with two occupants): $50 Car (with three occupants): $75 Car (with four occupants): $100 Social distancing measures will operate in accordance with Delaware guidelines:
• Vehicles will be spaced approximately 6’-8’ apart. Windows may remain open at this distance.
• Cars will be parked in a manner to achieve at/or appropriate spacing and best visibility.
• Patrons are encouraged to remain in their vehicles. However, you may leave your car and sit in your own chairs in the adjoining space beside your car.
• Face masks must be worn anytime your are outside your vehicle.
• There are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS at this engagement.
• There is no reentry once your vehicle leaves the grounds.
• In accordance with state guidelines, patrons will be asked to leave if they do not adhere to the rules and regulations.
Additional information for these first-of-a-kind concert experiences:
• Passenger vehicles only. No motorcycles, buses, party buses, limousines, bicycles, or foot traffic allowed. ADA accessible vehicles will be permitted.
• All tickets are general admission and spots cannot be reserved.
• Rain date for this event is Sunday, July 5.
• Concert will take place in the Main Parking Lot of Frawley Stadium. All traffic must enter from Justison Street.
• There will be no concessions served. Alcohol prohibited.
• Attendees will be able to hear the concerts via FM radio. Details will be provided on site.
• We discourage vehicles with more than four occupants.
