Happening Now: Tree Down Home, One Trapped Inside Under Debris

Rescue crews have responded to the 400 block of Forest Drive in Wilmington for reports of a tree down on a home.

While in route crews learned that the patient is trapped from the knees up.

First arriving crews reported the patient has debris on his upper body. Crews reporting that a car jack is holding the pile up.

Update: Crews have removed the debris and are accessing the patient.

Update: Crews are reporting this is the second time that they have had to remove a trapped person from this home due to a collapse.

Update: The patient is being removed from the home.
