Middletown – Rescue crews from several fire companies have responded to Augustine Beach for reports of watercraft in distress.
Arriving crews are reporting a jet ski floating in the water with the nose up.
Crews are reporting that a private boater has assisted the operator of the jet ski.
At least one rescue swimmer has entered the water.
Update: It sounds like the operator is safe and is being transported to an awaiting ambulance for evaluation.
