Claymont- On Sunday, August 30, 2020, at approximately 6:20 in the evening, officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the unit block of North Avon Drive in the community of Ashbourne Hills, for a report of a domestic dispute.
During the course of the investigation, an officer discharged their weapon striking a subject. A spokesman for the police said the suspect was transported to a local area hospital but did not release the condition of the patient.
