Harbeson- The Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a serious crash in the area of Harbeson Road at Cool Spring Road.
Just before 11:00 this morning rescue crews from the Lewes and Milton Fire Departments along with Sussex County Medics and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2 were dispatched to a rollover crash with injuries.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the accident involves four patients one of which was trapped and seriously injured. The conditions of the other three patients are unknown at this time.
As a result of this crash and ongoing investigation in the Harbeson Road at Cool Spring Rd. is closed at this time, officials said Monday. A photo submitted by a First State Update reader shows State Police investigating the scene where a vehicle has overturned on come to rest on it’s top.
Motorists will experience delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
