Man Charged With Criminal Mischief In Queen Street Incident

Eric Sartin was arrested on August 30th, 2020 when the Delaware State Police transported him to the Dover Police Department.  Sartin was charged with a single count of criminal mischief and released on an O.R. Bond by Justice of the Peace Court 7.

The Dover Police Department is seeking a suspect that fire multiple gunshots in a parking lot on Wednesday afternoon following a domestic-related argument, according to Sergeant Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said Eric Sartin, 29, of Smyrna fired two gunshots in the air and two shots at an unoccupied vehicle belonging to the victim of the domestic altercation in the parking lot of 642 S. Queen Street. Sartin then fled in a gray 2009 Honda Accord with Delaware Registration: 11164. No injuries occurred as a result of this incident.

Anyone with Sartin’s whereabouts should call 911 or 302-736-7111.

Sartin is wanted for Criminal Mischief at this time with additional charges pending based on the investigation, said Hoffman.
