Old Newport Taco Bell/KFC Opens As Dunkin Tomorrow, Free Coffee

People who live and work in Wilmington can run on Dunkin’ faster and more conveniently than ever before. Dunkin’ today announced it will open its doors to its newest Wilmington next-generation restaurant at 705 W Newport Pike on Saturday, August 15.

In celebration of the opening, the new Dunkin’ restaurant will offer all guests a FREE* Medium Hot or Iced Coffee throughout the day on Saturday, August 15, starting at 10 AM. In addition to the free coffee offer, the restaurant will also continue the celebration by offering a week-long 99¢** Medium Hot or Iced Coffee offer starting Sunday, August 16 through Saturday, August 22.

As part of Dunkin’s ongoing efforts to help ensure the safety of guests and crew in light of the COVID-19 health crisis, this new restaurant is limiting service to drive-thru, carry-out, and curbside pick-up services. Dine-in service has been suspended to prevent the congregation of guests and will be available soon. On-the-Go ordering is available through the Dunkin’ app for drive-thru pick-up or curbside pick-up to limit contact.

The new restaurant features a modern look that provides a fresh, friendly, vibrant and engaging environment for guests. Complete with a new, warmer interior color palette, the restaurant will also offer comfortable guest seating, atmospheric lighting and a convenient drive-thru.

Exciting elements of the new restaurant experience at the Wilmington location include:

Faster than Ever Drive-Thru Experience: An exclusive On-the-Go drive-thru lane lets DD Perks® members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile app bypass the ordering lane and head straight into the line for the pickup window.
Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.
Dunkin’ on Demand: Fully-integrated digital kiosks allow guests to order without the assistance of a Dunkin’ crew member.

The 2,300 square-foot restaurant will be open from 5 AM – 8 PM, seven days a week. This restaurant will employ approximately 14 crew members and features complimentary Wi-Fi. The openness, colors and materials used in the design will help to create a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ products in a positive atmosphere.

Including the new restaurant in Wilmington, Dunkin’ franchisee Pradip Saha of Aark Newport, LLC currently owns and operates six Dunkin’ locations throughout Delaware.
