Milford Shooting Victim Has Succumbed To His Injuries, Name released

The Milford Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex on 09/16/2020 at approximately 9:40 p.m., according to Milford Police Spokesman Timothy Maloney.

Maloney said the investigation has revealed that the male subject, Mario Satirin, 38 of Milford, DE, has succumbed to his gunshot wounds sustained during this incident. His body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science.

The shooting occurred in the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex on 09/16/2020 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Maloney said the preliminary investigation has revealed that one male subject was struck in the torso by a small-caliber round by an unknown suspect(s). The victim was transported to Bayhealth: Sussex Campus and is listed in serious but stable condition.
