At approximately 3:20 yesterday afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire companies were dispatched to the intersection of Terminal Avenue and New Castle Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.
Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, a 27-year-old-male motorcyclist, in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his arm, leg, and back. He was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Holloway Terrace Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in serious condition.

Just over three hours later at 6:40, New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of Governor Printz Boulevard and Interstate 495 Northbound on-ramp for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, a 52-year-old-male motorcyclist, who suffered injuries to his arm and shoulder. That patient was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Claymont Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. He was in stable condition at the time of transport.

At 7:25 New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire companies were dispatched to the 300 block of East Basin Road for an all-terrain vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, a 20-year-old-male driver of the ATV, in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his head and face and was treated on scene. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in stable condition.

Delaware authorities responded to two other motorcycle crashes on Saturday, one of which was in Cecil County, Maryland. Two crashes involving bicycles occurred in Bethany Beach and Dover early Saturday.
