Lastest Statement On Missing Newark Charter Student Madison Sparrow

We appreciate everyone that has liked or is following this page. We know you have a lot of questions, and so do we. I want to provide an update on what we know at this point, and hopefully answer some of the questions going around.

There is a detective working on the case with the family. Unfortunately, they are still gathering a lot of information and following leads, but are not able to provide all details to us yet. While frustrating, this is part of the process.

The last location for Madison was based on the last ping from her cell phone. This was at 3:52pm on Friday. Her phone went off at that point. We appreciate the many that searched the field in that area yesterday!

Currently, the story is that she was dropped off there by a friend, and that she voluntarily got into an older model, white, lifted, 4-door Chevy truck. This story is not believed to be fully factual, and we are still trying to verify. There was a white truck found yesterday (as posted in the comments here), but it is not believed to be the truck in question. The only thing we can confirm is that her cell phone was there before it went dark.

The family, and many of Heather’s friends (thank you all so much!) have been doing everything possible behind the scenes to get as much information as possible to help law enforcement with the case. This includes, but is not limited to, working on getting cell phone records, getting social media records, and following up on any leads that come in.

There are many moving parts and we appreciate everyone’s support. Please keep sharing and if you have any information, please reach out directly or to the tip line. We will provide an update again when there is information that can be shared. If any additional searches are set up, we will create an event on this page to let you know when and where. Thank you all so very much!
