Police: 22-Year-Old Stabbed In Dover Sunday

The Dover Police Department is investigating the stabbing of a 22-year-old man that occurred on Sunday night, according to Dover Police Department Public Information Office Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers responded to Kent General Hospital after being notified that a stabbing victim has been self-transported to the emergency room.

Investigating officers learned that the man had been stabbed in the chest and suffered serious internal injury as a result. Police believe the man was stabbed on White Oak Road before an acquaintance transported him to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130.
