Bear- The Delaware State Police have arrested 26-year-old Joshua Bostic and 24-year-old Justin Hudson for robbery and related charges following an incident that occurred at TD Bank in October 2020, according to Public Information Officer, Corpora/1 Jason Hatchell.
Hatchell said on October 7, 2020, at approximately 1:47 p.m., troopers responded to TD Bank located at 1001 E. Songsmith Drive in Bear for a reported bank robbery. The initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter, and passed a note to the bank teller, according to Hatchell. The teller understood a robbery was occurring and complied with the demands. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot toward the Lowes parking lot. No one was injured during the incident.
Through investigative leads, troopers identified the getaway vehicle involved in the incident. On October 08, 2020, members of the Troop 2 Robbery Unit located the suspect vehicle traveling in New Castle and initiated a traffic stop. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Justin Hudson was taken into custody without incident, said Hatchell.
Hudson was transported to Troop 2 where he was linked to the robbery and charged with the following:
Robbery 2nd Degree (Felony)
Conspiracy 2nd Degree (Felony)
Hudson was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $1,500 secured bond.
Following the arrest of Hudson, the investigation identified the primary suspect in the robbery of TD Bank as Joshua Bostic, according to Hatchell. Bostic has been in the custody of Howard R. Young Correctional Institution since October 21, 2020, from a separate robbery incident.
On November 18, 2020, while in custody at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution Bostic was charged with:
Robbery 2nd Degree (Felony)
Conspiracy 2nd Degree (Felony)
Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
Bostic was issued $14,000 cash bail and remains in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
