The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a Dover man in his late twenties that occurred on Friday morning, according to Public Information Office
Sergeant Mark Hoffman.
Hoffman said at approximately 2:13 a.m. Friday, December 25, 2020, officers responded to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for a report of a gunshot victim arriving by private vehicle. The victim succumbed to his injuries after arriving at the hospital. Further details are not being released at this time for investigative purposes.
The Dover Police Department is withholding the name and age of the victim until the next of kin has been notified.
